Our First Home!!!

James and I were so excited to set up our first home after a long road trip from Seattle to Princeton. When we didn't get our furniture for a few weeks after moving in we bought an air mattress and camped out in the living room...we managed to scrounge up a tv from a thoughtful neighbor so that we could watch Notre Dame's first football game of the season. (We won't talk about how the season went, though!) Anyhow, soon enough our furniture arrived and we began to set up our first place together. We love it! James is happy to have five bookshelves in our house, and I'm happy to have so many new non-stick pots and pans - they are SO MUCH easier to cook with and clean up. We finally got some of our wedding photos framed and hung up, so it's quite lovely now - we couldn't be happier here!

James and I went to Maui for 9 days after we got married and it was wonderful - we swam a lot, went snorkeling, drove the road to Hana, went hiking through a bamboo forest, ate fresh and wonderful fish, and had a fabulous time!
